Our Story
“Jason and I met 6 years ago on an online dating app. Little did we know our families had ties long before we were ever born. Jason’s great grandpa had a dairy farm on Lennox new Lyme road in Jefferson. His next door neighbor who also had a dairy farm was my grandpa’s uncle. They were friends and it was so cool to find all of this out. Jason and I spent these 6 last years traveling (Traverse City, Michigan is our fav) , going to many concerts, county fairs and adopting Siberian huskies. Speaking of huskies, he brought home our third husky puppy (rescue) Rebel and a diamond ring at the same time and the rest is history!”
Why We Chose Running Horse Farm:
“I don’t even know how I started following the Facebook page but it was during the very beginning! I watched all of the renovations and loved all of the pics of Walt too ;). Since we have dairy farmers in the family tree this made it even more special for us. RHF is so gorgeous and you can’t beat the views.”

Their Favorite Moment?
“So many to choose from! But a part from marrying my soulmate and us getting pics with the horses ;), my 88 year old grandpa being able to walk me down the aisle meant the world to me. (And also my senior husky Rain getting to be the dog of honor).”
How They Felt on Their Big Day?
MAGICAL
We knew we wanted a small wedding, but Megan and staff/vendors made sure everything was so clean, organized, and safe for our family and friends during this crazy pandemic. Megan goes out of her way to make sure the bride and groom get everything they want on their wedding day! She is so laid back and takes amazing pictures. We are so overwhelmed and grateful for our experience at the RHF!
